CONGRESSMAN MANUEL JOSE “MANNIX” MENDOZA DALIPE is no stranger to legislation and public service, having been
exposed to local lawmaking during his time as City Councilor for three terms since 1998 and Vice Mayor of Zamboanga City in 2007.
During the 2016 elections, he won the 2nd Congressional District seat of Zamboanga City as a champion for health, education,
infrastructure, security, transportation mobility, agri-fishery modernization and welfare of children. In the 2019 elections, he was
overwhelmingly re-elected as congressman with the lead of over 50,000 votes – the largest margin in the history of Zamboanga
City 2nd District politics.
