District Representative of Caloocan City, 1st District
From the crowded, bustling community of Bagong Barrio, Caloocan—Dale, or “Along” to his peers, found his inspiration to
serve the people. During his years heading the Barangay, he helped multiple families keep their homes through persistent
negotiations with the administration.
Along was also the youngest city councilor during his time.
However, this did not inhibit his ability to create laws that are
beneficial to the city’s residents. Motivated with the idea that
education is the paramount need of any successful society,
he authored the free tuition ordinance for University of
Caloocan (UCC), which is still beneficial to date. Thousands
of scholars graduated without having to pay a single cent to
their university for their degree. Moreover, UCC has produced
several board top-notchers and licensed professionals.
