JOBS AND ECONOMIC RECOVERY
One’s livelihood is one’s anchor to life, with the pandemic’s
constant threat, Cong. Malapitan has implemented several
programs to mitigate its effect on employment and small
businesses. Now, the focus shifts on economic recovery
and how the residents can recuperate from unemployment
and debt. Providing opportunities for training at skills
development as well as free certification are some of his
on-going programs supported by the administration. He has
also constantly put forward livelihood showcases for well-
deserving individuals to help them restart their lives and
regain their footing.

MULTI-FUNCTIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE
Since Caloocan is a highly-urbanized, residential area,
there is a pressing need to build multi-functional infrastructure
that can be utilized by all citizens. Cong. Malapitan has
helped built multi-purpose buildings that can be converted
to basketball courts, events place and conference halls
depending on the need that may arise. He envisions that the
city will have more open green spaces that will help reduce
the carbon footprint of its establishments while providing a
safe, lively and sustainable place for everyone.

With his youthful approach diversified by his experience
as a public servant, Cong. Malapitan strives to constantly
redefine himself as a leader; focusing on key areas of
education, health, infrastructure, and economic recovery—
not once wavering in his efforts for this to become a reality.
He believes that Caloocan has gone far from what it was but
is willing to take it a leap further for its citizens deserve a
sincere, transparent, dedicated leader willing to transcend
expectations and raise the bar higher.
