             He then campaigned for the cleansing of the list of voters in the ARMM, a move strongly supported by civil society groups.
        With their help, he secured President Aquino’s support. Close to 300,000 illegitimate registrants were removed from the region’s
        official book of voters as a result of the re-registration conducted by the Commission on Elections, paving the way for more credible
        elections. He was for the second time, cited by President Aquino in the recent SONA for his electoral reform initiative.
             He has pressed on with the brand of leadership and programs he started in the ARMM after emerging victorious in the
        synchronized midterm election in May this year. He has called for the streamlining and optimization of government services being
        handled by the regional government through the ARMM HELPS (Health, Education, Livelihood, Peace and Security, and Synergy)
        scheme. He has likewise mandated a proactive approach to emergency situations with the activation of the ARMM HEART or the
        Humanitarian Emergency Action Response Team.
             Mujiv  married  Sitti  Djalia  Turabin,  former  executive  director  of  the  National  Commission  on  Muslim  Filipinos  and  now
        Representative  of  Anak  Mindanao  Party  List.  They  have  five  children,  namely:  AhmedIbn  Djaliv,  Khaleed  Eiman  Djaliv,
        Amina Umara, Jamil Oumar and Ameera Mumtaz.
             Mujiv’s  style  of  leadership  will  forever  mark  as  a  legacy  of  new  politics,  not  just  for  the  Muslim  autonomous  region,
        but for the rest of the country as well.
