                                                                    CONSTRUCTION OF MALOLOS (STO. CRISTO) -
                                                                    HAGONOY BYPASS ROAD: Php 350,000,000.00
                                                                       The  proposed  project  supports  the  MTPDP’s  broad  thrusts  in  putting
                                                                    up massive infrastructure development that will create an integrated and
                                                                    coordinated transport network. The study will cover the coastal towns of
                                                                    Hagonoy, Paombong and Malolos City which will be directly traversed by the
                                                                    proposed bypass road stretching to about 7 km. Aside from encouraging rapid
                                                                    growth of the coastal towns of Bulacan, the project is also designed to provide
                                                                    alternative route to the only major road that links Malolos City and Hagonoy,
                                                                    which is currently experiencing congestion due to widening restrictions.
                                                                    PROPOSED EASTERN BULACAN ROAD:

                                                                       The  Eastern  Bulacan  Road  (3rd  Bulacan  Circumferential  Road)
                                                                    is  a  road  network  stretching  85.5  kilometers  located  in  the  upland
                                                                    communities of the province of Bulacan. This road network interconnects
                                                                    the  municipalities of  San Rafael,  Angat,  Doña  Remedios  Trinidad,  San
                                                                    Ildefonso, and San Miguel.The road project was envisioned to boost the

        aquaculture activities. The project shall include a fish-port complex and
        a  fish-processing  center.  It  aims  to  increase  employment  opportunities
        of fishermen through amplifying marketable fish products and enhanced
        participation in  marketing  and processing and thereby revitalizing  the
        fishery sector in the local economy.
