“It's time for our province to enter the same pursuit by way of clean
technology.Conventional sources of energy and power infrastructure in the
Philippines rests on coal, gas, and bunker fuel. As we move towards the pace
of economic development, we must make sure to avoid any severe shortages
in grid-supplied power. Tarlac, according to DENR, has a high solar radiance
thus, it is wise that we harness solar energy as an alternative energy source.”
INFRASTRUCTURE
Governor Yap facilitated the hosting of the BCDA Green City which will generate more jobs for
the Tarlaqueños. The 9,450-hectare Clark Green City is located within the Clark Special Economic
Zone (CSEZ) and at the heart of the bustling urban centers and major infrastructures in the
Central Luzon Region.

and efficiency of program service delivery.”
Among the major infrastructure projects of Gov. Susan Yap is the construction of
the Tarlac Provincial Hospital and the Tarlac Legislative Building, the enhancement
of the Maria Christina Park, and the renovation of Tarlac Provincial Capitol and the
Diwa ng Tarlac.
Another major target is to concretize forty (40) kilometers of provincial,
municipal, and baranggay roads annually. Under the Kalsada Program of 2016,
Php 55 million pesos has been downloaded by the national government for the
implementation of the province’s Priority Core Road Projects namely: Gerona-Paniqui
via Buenlag, Moncada-Bayambang via Tubectubang, and Gerona-Sta. Ignacia. Next
year, an additional 180 million will be undertaken under Kalsada program.
Currently, the provincial government has overseen the construction of
suspension bridge & Access Rd. leading to the Bamboo Forest Park (P7 million
pesos), and the rehabilitation of the following provincial roads: Moncada-Bayambang
(P22.6 million pesos), Gerona-Paniqui (P22.6 million pesos), Gerona - Santa Ignacia
(P30.7 million pesos) and Capas-Murcia (P4.9 million pesos).
