Creating opportunities for his constituents has always
been the core of his service, he has given out several
livelihood programs to aid to the city’s crisis recovery.
He also helped citizens on honing their skills through free
training programs. To ensure that Caloocan residents will
be prioritized in the hiring process of businesses in the city,
he helped pass an ordinance stating that the said businesses
must hire at least 70% of their total workforce from Caloocan
residents. This has helped boost the employment rate and
allowed several individuals to have a secure job within
their hometown.
A young, fresh face with a strong vision to lead and change
the country for the better—Lanz Almeda continues to be
a bright example to his generation of the possibilities one
can achieve and the invaluable contribution of the Filipino
youth to his nation. At 27 years old he is one of the nation
builders, and is set to achieve greater things for himself, for
Caloocan and its people.
