MOST OUTSTANDING MAYOR AWARD 2021

Mayor Boying Cari is an avid tennis player, and an advocate
of a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Despite his busy schedule
as city mayor, he always finds the occasion to spend time
and take care of his kids, as well as to share a drink or two
with friends and constituents. In the early days of his political
career, Mayor Boying Cari has been known to engage in talks
and drinking sprees with people of all walks of life, from the
most respectable professional, to street thugs, pot-pot and
tricycle drivers, and the most humble farmer or fisherman
in the barangays. This laid-back and approachable attitude
towards governance, and basically in his approach to life,
is one the reasons why is well-liked and much-loved by
his people, and is ultimately, his formula for success in his
political endeavours.

Mayor Boying Cari was married to the late Leyte Provincial
Board Member Dr. Margarita Cellona Cari with which he has
four children: Architect Jet Catrina C. Un, 5th District of Leyte
Representative Carl Nicolas C. Cari, Jules Lucas C. Cari, and
Anica Giorgia C. Cari. He is presently married to Dr. Stefannie
A. Pantino, and they are blessed with two children: Caius Mateo
and Cailee Lois.
