In Environmental Protection, NRT pledged to promote a clean,
green and resilient municipality in managing and sustaining the
environment in consonance with the municipality’s vision and mission.
For the collection and recovery of waste materials, MGO maintained
the Eco-Park and Barangay Material Recovery Facility for alternative
processing and bio-composting. This includes the segregation of
Biodegradable and Non-Biodegradable waste for vermicomposting.
Furthermore, we organized “Tanggol Kalikasan” to observe and monitor
illegal cutting of trees in the community. Our community preserves
mangrove trees in coastal areas, and NRT conserves protection of
almost 500 endangered pawikans and penalizes person/s involved
in hauling. In addition, the MGO purchased solid waste machinery
such as waste crusher, waste mixer, block machine press and waste
pulverizer in order to save landfill capacity for materials that do not
have alternative uses and reduce the number of raw materials used in LOOkING FORWARD…
construction and other industries. Coming up in our dear town, MGO project works are being carried
out swiftly and are expected to be completed in the coming year.
Despite NRT’s last term of office, he will undertake the construction of
additional classrooms courtesy of Fil-Chinese Chamber of Commerce
which was long committed and discontinued due to the pandemic.
Macalelonians will witness the completion of solar lights along the
national road of Macalelon and additional infrastructure projects
in different barangays. NRT will also continue the “Batang Matalino
Bayan Ang Panalo” among poor but deserving students to acquire
necessary education and later on the opportunity to carve better lives.

NRT is optimistic about the future of his beloved town—Macalelon.

HERE NOW. Our town has much to improve upon and real change
doesn’t happen overnight. But we haveve all made a common discovery.
We are in an arena where real change can happen. It is an arena where
a good idea can touch the lives of thousands of Macalelonians.

NRT’s Motto: “Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where
