In Tourism, NRT personally initiated the construction of the Station
of the Cross known as the “Mountain of Faith” located at his own lot in
Brgy. Pinagbayanan. We had also constructed the New Public Market
building and trading post funded by Dept. of Agriculture and LGU
counterpart budget. The new public market has enabled vendors and
community vendee access to clean and convenient markets. Since
fishing is one of the major sources of income in Macalelon, the MGO
constructed Fish Landing Port to further improve livelihood service and
delivery to our kababayans.

In agriculture, the MGO provided readily available information and
locally verified technology to farmers. We conducted a barangay-
based Agriculture and Fisheries Techno-Caravan, bringing modern
and cost-effective technologies directly to the farmers. The MGO
intensified the production of different agricultural farm products such
as cacao, coffee, rice, corn and vegetables through the assistance
of the Department of Agriculture. We have availed machinery and
equipment as a part of agricultural mechanization and extended lending
